Journals 2005, July

In July, I was fortunate to take a workshop with Rosalie Dace of South Africa. She brought patterns for us to do quilts of African animals using traditonal African motifs. I needed to get caught up on my journal quilts, so decided to snag two birds with one quilt: I designed my own "African-style" pelican. I love the fish in the tummy of the fish in the tummy of the pelican!
