Under Northern Stars

Living in rural Maine with little light pollution, we are lucky to see so many stars on a clear night.  Star trail photography stacks multiple images taken from a fixed point. This technique creates concentric lines formed by the movement of the stars which rotate around the North Star.  Inspired by my world and photography, I wanted to describe the immensity of the universe and our place, snug beneath it on our planet.
